Highlights
Over 40 new prayer partners signed up, and $114,000 was raised.
Let us help you imagine what you missed
6:30 The mingling begins
Picture a lovely ballroom. Wait staff circulating with tasty hors d'oeuvres.
A student jazz ensemble plays in the background.
Imagine oversize art pieces on display. A 7 foot tall medieval bead mosaic adjacent to a whimsical 6-foot tall brightly colored paper mache creature.
You walk around a two-tiered tower of science fair exhibits, and enjoy students’ individual artwork.
A tableau of students frozen in position re-enact the Defenestration of Prague. (Look it up.)
You hear the voices of new acquaintances being made, punctuated by occasional exclamations of old acquaintances renewed. And that’s all before the program begins!
7:15 Get a taste of Greenhouse
Picture settling at your table with a handful of friends, as the emcee warmly introduces a series of students.
After watching a scene from a play, you listen as a student shares her testimony about the relationships she has built at Greenhouse with teachers and peers; and the fruit that has borne in her family.
You’re enrapt as middle school students present “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” and other famous pieces.
To listen as Dr. Parker is interviewed is to understand why students so value his classroom. Then it is time for dessert.
8:00 Keynote Address
Imagine being challenged and encouraged by Dr. Michael Lindsay’s invitation to become a servant. His address is laced with powerful anecdotes from leaders he has interviewed over the years. He winsomely calls us to serve with a generous heart.
Then a short video profiles Corinne, a Greenhouse alumnus who graduated a dozen years ago and now serves high school students herself.
As the night draws to a close, Tom Spacek invites you to participate in the mission of Greenhouse through giving, praying, and volunteering. You are happy you came, and even as you leave you spot old friends in the foyer.
Corinne was a Greenhouse student from 2003 to 2012.
Our two-fold invitation to you
1) Participate in our Mission
Even if you were not at Flourish ‘25, you are still invited to participate in our mission stands. It’s not too late to be included in the response to Flourish.
2) Plan on Flourish ‘26
We invite you to save the date for Flourish ‘26. Consider attending on Monday April 27, 2026 when our keynote speaker will be Dr. Jerry Root, eminent C.S. Lewis scholar and Greenhouse grandfather!
